The price is just fine. 250 is where the device should be. anymore and I would be pissed and any less I would have been surprised.
When Sony announced 250 would be the price, my first thought was "wow" that is exactly what I was looking for. I was surprised it wasn't more expensive (knowing Sony)
When you compare it to what you can get for 250 dollars devices on the market, There is no reason at all the price should have affected the score.
I bought this for 20 bucks and I think its ok. My only complaint is while the case is closed you lose access to charge it. That really pisses me off.
The thing is great in the car or on the couch.
Protection is good with it too. It snaps into the string hoops and snaps back into the case.

Here is my take on it.
Nintendo DS was 150 bucks and what kid didn't want it from their parents? It's demographic is generally the younger ones. Plus gamers buy one eventually for our favorite titles like Mario and Zelda.
Economy is tight and that's why things that are geared towards kids do well. Our kids are still going to get toys especially when the price is right.

All of the demos showed that it was a bunch of mini puzzle games thinly veiled as a exploration game.

I don't want a MGS5. The ending of MGS4 was so perfect and awesome and it answered everything. Sometimes the ending is worth the story. I feel like a 5 will ruin it all.
There is absolutely no reason to make a 5.

I hate to be that guy but this game seems like a failure right out the gate. I liked AoC and even that game didn't live up to a whole lot. This was due to funcom not handling the game correctly and making the changes that needed to be made.
From what I read it is 300 per server per map. There are 3 W (WvWvW) and 4 maps connected. Crazy!
You guys forget that Sony, MS and Nintendo are already well on their way for their next gen consoles. GW2 will have staying power for many years to come so who knows.

Gameloft has always been known for their quality titles that are price very decently. I think they are starting to believe they are a AAA developer and they just aren't. They were just good at building a great cheap game, not something worth 40 bucks of my hard earned cash.

I actually thought the 40 dollar pricetag was a misprint until a week ago. I have had Dungeon Hunter 1 on my iphone for 2 years. I got it for 3 bucks. Then i bought it on PSN for 7 to play with friends.
So when i saw it was 40 i lol'd. Its really not acceptable and from the reviews ive seen the game lags.
I may have paid 5 bucks again for it but 40? What the hell are you thinking?

I love this company and I was in the beta. I am not sure what to think of it even after playing. For 15 bucks I think it will be an interesting game to play.
