Meri, do you know what you are talking about? Did you read the article. They totally took AreaNet out of context. The didn't deliberately cut content to save for later. They built the game with all the realms and lore etc with expansions in mind.

AreaNet said that they have areas and lore in mind for DLC from the beginning of production, not that they cut areas to sell later as DLC.

These games have zero subscription, big deal if you pay for DLC expansions. Doesn't AreaNet deserve it?

I don't agree with you. I completely agree that it was a good single player experience, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to play with friends. co-op was built into the game regardless.

I know what you mean in a way and I really don't mind playing with strangers, but I had two friends that owned this game at the time and I think it sucks we never truly got to play it (experience it) together.

I loved Demon's Souls, but one thing that bothered me is I couldn't join friends even if they had the game. They need people to be able to play with friends easily, that is my only gripe.
