The 360 controller is better than the Playstation controller.
How ever the Playstation fanbase is far bigger than that of the Xbox fanbase and once you become accustomed to 1 controller its hard to get use to another 1. PS controllers are something that if you have grown up with you dont notice how bad it is. But the 360 is a controller right from the get go you can get a feel for.
But still this d-pad isnt going to be as effective as the PS d-pad. The PS advantage is...

Imagine what the lag was like if you lived in Australia like me... Gears 1 i must have played a 1000+ multiplayer matches...Gears 2 only about 30, Gears with dedicated servers and Matchmaking fails hard.
Gears 1 layout was so simple and you always had a perfect connection... though the host advantage once you got past the extra blood on the screen was a little extreme.

As a 360 gamer myself, i agree... the game is fail.
However i honestly think Uncharted 1&2 and Killzone 2 are just as bad.
Just because a game is Exclusive... doesnt mean its "AAA"... the purpose of an Exclusive is to push consoles... nothing more.
I've had a bird eating spider climb (Size of a dinner plate) over my face... sure i freaked the fuck out, but i gotta say after that, any spider smaller than my fist does not scare me.

I cant believe you even mentioned Oblivion and Demon Souls in the same sentence.
Demon Souls was inspired by ElderScrolls... its just impossible to even compete with Oblivion though... it made the RPG genre what it is today...

I play it on 360... and i cant imagine it with more than 24 players... its far to hectic with 16 players let alone 24. What the player cap on PC?
The Demo is only the first cutscene and first 5mins of gamplay...the fact you have come to a conclusion after that tells me your GOTY choice is simply wrong.

I havent even reached lvl 30 yet and havent touched it since Assassins Creed Brotherhood came out... let alone bring myself to play it again... actually i cant bring myself to play anything but BFBC2 and ME2 lately... since EA put more servers in Australia BFBC2 has just gotten way more epic... knowing that i now have the same chance at killing some else is really satisfying... and you cant go past those ridiculous long range snipes.

Over the last ten years i think its near impossible to pick a winner... and he(this author) has only given HIS opinion of which is the best game of the last decade.

I think its quite clear that both consoles have completely different default gamma and brightness settings.
But its sad to see such a top Developer do such a dodgy port job... I think its safe to say the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2 is a testing ground for the new ME3 engine.
But you would honestly expect some sort of effort... i realise that ME3 would take priority here, but the PS3 fans still deserve the best that can be delivered... when these latest imag...

I salute you... couldnt have put it better myself.
Its a matter of which console appeals to you as a individual not a mass population. I will always choose 360 over PS3 and always take Xbox over Playstation... but thats me... im sure the rest of this site population will do differently.
I dont give a shit either. The Xbox has the games I like to play on a controller that I'M comfortable with.
But many of you and more of you prefe...
