The one thing I miss from fallout and skyrim that is missing in starfield was the npc’s actually had their own homes and jobs you could run into them at different instances and if you Kill them future quest could be ended. That lived in sense is missing in starfield . Like if i rescue a hostage on there ship im going to rob them of credits because i will never see them again and there is no rules in space.
Im just happy Spider man and Starfield reinvigorated my fun for gaming. While they are not perfect the fun is back for me.Im not a souls borne or multiplayer guy these are oldschool blockbusters for me and why I have a series x and Ps5 classic exclusives.
VRR smooth with fidelity on my samsung is the best way to play the ray tracing is phenomenal my reflection on a steel container was life like how it warped I have not seen that in a console game ever. In Harrys new Mae foundation. Also Giant Sandman looked incredible. Horizon and Ratchet are still the 2 best looking games but it may be art style. FSR 3 maybe the only solution for series s parity. Which may mean 480p native games upscaled.
Alot pcs gamers still dont have ssd’s which why nowadays you see pc games being janky when they use to be the best experience. Ps5 exclusives have been the visual showcases. I thinks series s games will end up cloud only in the future.

Great games. But there are holes in the portfolio. Shooters in particular killzone,socom, siphon filter. Quirky japanese games sony was known for gone. Missed oppurtunity with gta taking 15 years for a new release a getaway game wouldve been perfect.

With how little western rpgs come out Im a big fan of the skyrim fallout formula used in starfield. I hate demon souls type games that get high reviews and are trash in my opinion gameplay and story wise they always feel like a ps2 game gameplay wise. I also cant stand top down rpgs like balders gate 3.Starfield Its an amazing game after the slow start 10 hrs in. Saying lies of p a souls type game better than starfield is a joke. I take reviews with a grain of salt .
With the lack of western rpgs this game gets more points from Me being just that.
Raising the price for shovelware and multiplayer for live service games that already milk you is crazy. Just give me my single player adventure and rpg games.
Here is to me buying another year before sept 6 but subscription tv and gaming prices getting insane. I wait for black friday deals for streaming.
