I been waiting forever for games on xbox . I only grabbed an xbox series x because they gobbled up most of the American rpgs I played last gen ie (elderscrolls,fallout,outerwor ld). Which sony has a hole in the lineup of.
Live service but not using there existing ips was baffling and the root cause. Imagine twisted metal custom car live service or a socom style division game or getaway style GTa and online game sounds like no brainers. Dei is definably not the reason no DEI you never would've got a GTA san Andreas for example.
Sony couldve created there own with socom but there on a live service Bump crash then bump again.
Almost the same game every year reskinned. 15 studios probably shells of there former selves. I prefer battlefield.
After all the updates cyber punk was one of my favorite games this gen cant wait

Funny my favorite games this gen were last gen games Horizon 2 and heavily updated cyperpunk 2077.Ratchet and spider-man were good so was Gow. Where are the next gen ps5 only games?
Instead of a getaway type game we get this $400 million dollar disaster.
Im a sony fan but also own a series x .the last few years my xbox has been collecting dust in favor of ps5. But with xboxes 2025 lineup i believe the tide is turning and ps5 will be collecting dust until GTA 6.

Maybe if the made more single player games and some legacy games as multiplayer. Who is going to shell out that much for a line up full of Gaas? Who is there target market? No pro for me.

UE5 is pushing the boundary with this game like how Bethesda use to push with oblivion and Skyrim back in the day bugs are deal withable. I appreciate the effort with cutting edge tech for a first game studio. The game is unplayable on xbox series s.
Riddick butcher bay pushed boundaries with its high res textures low poly method. This is basically the same studio so they pushed limits again with id tech 60fps RT lighting on series x at 1800p and gamers complain about high specs now?
