I keep seeing people making this comment and it seems quite illogical to me. When this game comes out for the ps4 and pc it will be a new game because it was never released on those systems before. What is the difference between releasing all three versions at the same time and selling them all at full price or releasing one version first and then the other two after and selling them all at the same price? It makes absolutely no sense to expect the pc and ps4 versions to be cheaper.
Third party exclusives do benefit, they benefit a lot. What doesn't benefit is third party TIMED exclusives. However, I can see a third party timed exclusive benefiting more on the ps4 than on the xbox one due to Sony's massive marketshare and huge popularity right now.
Obviously not the people who cared last gen.

You're a brave soul. I never bought XIII-2 or LR after playing the abomination that was XIII. The writer of this article couldn't be more than 14 to make such a statement. After playing FF 1-12 no true fan of the franchise would enjoy the XIII series.
This game has an 86 by critics on meta critic and a 5 by users. As far as I can see, that is reality.
The success of gone home is really pretty straight forward. They made a crappy game to pander to sjw's. They then got all their sjw friends in the gaming media to play it up and call it one of the most innovative games ever made. Then voila, an instant hit was born. Unsuspecting gamers bought it based on the stellar reviews, then most of them got severely disappointed when they realized just how much tripe the game was. Simplest success story ever.

2. The exclusives being awful are purely subjective and knowing your history I expected you to say as much.
3. No system has ever come, or probably will ever come close to the library of the ps2. The ps2 library is probably the best in gaming. Sony, however, to this day are still producing some of the best games and franchises in gaming.
