For the love of God........ok dude seeing that obviously math is not your strong point I'm gonna try and make this as simple as possible so that you can grasp the concept.

If when the playstation launched it was, lets's say 7 million behind the xbox 360 then that would give the 360 a 7 mil head start from the get go. Now based on your logic you are saying that every year the 360 outsold the ps3. Now if that was the case the lead would continue to grow, just like the l...

"Next, you said my claim that the PS3 was outsold MOST of the gen is untrue... links?
Just because it ENDED UP SELLING 5 million more doesn't somehow change the fact that the 5 million lead happened within the last 2 years of the generation."

Congrats, you just wrote the biggest pack of tripe I've ever read on a blog on this site ever, and believe me, I've read some stinkers. So, let’s just cut to the chase and deal with this train wreck of a blog shall we.

Firstly, Microsoft had the better performing titles last gen for the first couple years. At that time there were TONS of articles on N4G talking about how inferior the ps3 was and many websites were actually writing articles telling their readers NOT to...

No, that just means you need to stop inventing friends.

This has nothing to do with defense mode. Your article headline, like most gaming websites headlines these days, is clickbait nonsense that is calling a statement vague that was simply meant to show the steps and obstacles that would need to be considered when doing cross platform. We both know that by saying his statement was vague you will stimulate more discussion and debate and draw more clicks to your site. Here's a headline that would have been 100% more accurate to what he said: &q...

"If you ever want to look at the ten biggest disappointments from E3 of all time, they would all be from Sony’s press conferences."

Did anyone else smell the utter and absolute BS emanating from this statement? Gamingbolt is becoming more and more like the anus of gaming journalism.

My point is that this answer is not "vague" or "iffy" as you stated in your article or "evasive" as a certain known diehard microsoft supporter stated in this comment section. "vague" and "iffy" are terms used by gaming writers that are trying to draw views to their site with clickbait articles to cast doubt on sony's response. He said they will need to talk to developers to see how it can be done and he stated the obstacles they would nee...

There is absolutely nothing evasive about his answer but i really didn't expect you to say anything different.

"Because PC is an open platform it’s much more straightforward. Connecting two different closed networks is much more complicated so we have to work with developers and publishers to understand what it is they are trying to accomplish.

We also have to look at the technical aspect – and the technical aspect could be the easiest. We also have to look at policy issues and business issues as well."

Exactly. I think anyone expecting them to release a ps4/psvr bundle anytime soon would be showing their complete lack of business sense. Sony is currently targeting the psvr for the people who already own ps4's and that's exactly who they need to target. That's 40 million customers right there already.

I'm sorry, but the article is ridiculous, makes no sense and is a waste of a read. Stop trying to justify that poorly written and researched piece. That article is an absolute disgrace to journalism.

Did you just say that the ps4 sold 8 million more units than the xbox one?????? If that's what you're implying could you please come and unhook me from the matrix? I have no idea at what point I was connected to it.

EXACTLY!!! The people who complained that the order should not have been $60 because it was a short game are the same people saying that this game, which is impossible to fully explore over sixty lifetimes, should not be $60 either. That, is the heights of hypocrisy.

3741d ago 14 agree10 disagreeView comment

No one needs to justify anything. They have the right to do that with their game if they so wish. I'm not saying it's a sensible thing to do but the point isn't about whether it makes sense or not, it's about whether they need to justify it and the answer is a resounding NO.
