I comment mainly about Sony because I've always owned sony consoles as my primary platforms.
I am getting a PS4.

Terrible jaggies, pop in, blurry as hell, low framerate (feels like 15 fps), horrible distant objects.

This is terrible.
The first thing a PQ aficionado does is turn OFF the auto adjusting brightness and contrast settings on the tv.
And manually calibrates them and the room lighting.
This screws up everything.
