If only we could get a remake of Crysis with the latest version of CryEngine 3. Even as a tech demo for its first level.
IF (and that's a big if) Deep Down is indeed playable on next-gen platforms, then we might get visuals really close to this (at least at the end of the next-generation cycle)

This is new, straight from CDPR. You are obviously referring to the scanned images from GameInformer that were full of compression errors. These are proper, HD direct shots, not scanned ones
I think this happens because PS4 and X720 are not out yet. Things could change when proper dev kits are out, so we'll have to wait and see
