Also with the 14.1 drivers, Mantle will work on all GCN-architecture desktop cards

I seriously can't understand why Epic has not made a Samaritan game. It would be an amazing sci-fi third person title. Or at least that's the vibe I got from the tech demo.

It's realtime, running at 1080p with 60fps on the creator's PC (specs were not given)

Man, the ‘moving along the ledge’ animation is practically the same

Good news is that this is created by an individual, so imagine what a triple-A studio will achieve with this engine. Also that scene was running at 1080x60fps according to its creator

Yeap, those two games were definitely Monolith's inspiration. Exploration = Assassin's Creed and Combat = Batman

Precisely. If they admit licensing - and credit AC2 - then everything is fine. However something tells me that this won't be the case

By far my most anticipated game of 2014

Now let's see a game implementing this new OpenGL command

4426d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

definitely looks interesting. Also combat is similar to the Batman games

Here is hoping that with Steam Machines OpenGL will get a big boost

4426d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Precisely my thoughts. I don't see this hitting its 2014 release window

can't wait for the tech demo

@aliengmr: Title states the obvious things. A Metro: Last Light scene recreated in CRYENGINE. As simple as that. The fact that you translate it to something completely different like "Hey, look at Cryengine! It can make every game look better!" is your false personal misinterpretation.

Oh, and it deserves not one but more articles, especially since this is made by a single person.

Seriously now, what next? Complaining about mods?

Indeed. I'm a fan of the Indoctrination theory and loved the documentaries that were released based on it

pretty impressive that it's 539 pages with multiple endings

Here is hoping that the final model will be better. This is a prototype after all

@Neonridr: Panda was referring to the 10megapixel size. Both 1920x5400 and 5400x1920 are 10megapixel ;)

4434d ago 5 agree1 disagreeView comment

More like 5400x1920 (as the second value is the height). Fixed article.

Guess someone did not get the joke (it's obvious that the title is made as a joke to all those "secret sauce" things). From the article:

"I don’t want to spoil the fun, so all I’ll say is this; Project CARS looks just as good in videos as in all those screenshots that have been released."

No secret sauce. All in-game. And contrary to other racers like Forza 5, in pCars you can play with the 'cinematic' view. It's all real-t...
