Ratchet & Clank was pretty funny, GTA4 had some crude humor.
Well I doubt Apple will push iPhone towards the gaming industry. They never seem to like the gaming industry & that is why they never push Mac towards it. Lately I saw a subtle change in trend but still. Apple needs to do more to get into the gaming industry.
I think Unreal Engine turned out to be the most successful engine to date. But yes I do have to say that there are awful lot of Unreal games, and the problem is the look similar too & its not the engine's fault. We have seen BioShock, MassEffect & Gears of War 3 totally different looking game & as far as I remember Lost Odyssey and some upcoming JRPGS also uses Unreal Engine, so it is possible to produce different looking games. I guess the developers are just lazy to create there...
Anyone know when Agency is coming out? I thought they were planning to release it this year July. Haven't heard from them again.
Yeah I agree with you mate. Last year e3, Microsoft press conference was kind of dull. They didn't had anything new to show. They didn't even announced any new game. All they did was they kept screaming about GTA4 and its exclusive DLC. Sony on the other hand came on stage with a lot of aggression. I hope both parties come out strong this year. Competition is always healthy for business.
& these are all the games that we already know about. I am pretty sure Sony will announce a couple of new games at this E3. God of War 3 from SantaMonica Studio, Naughty Dog Next Project, White Knight Chronicles & if the rumors are true then Level5 next game, TeamICO next project and probably a couple of other titles. All those coupled with WarDevil, HeavyRain, Resistance 2, Killzone 2 Multiplayer, and something from WarHawk Developers, may be a singleplayer game based on WarHawk. Son...
Only one game mode? No deathmatch? No team deathmatch? Is it true? I have been so busy with MGS4 I hardly had any time following this game:P
I disagree with this guy, I was never a fan of the series, yet MGS4 is much more accessible to new comers then ever before, the controls, camera, everything has been revamped & after viewing the first week sales, I doubt anyone would not consider it as a system seller.

I doubt Alan Awake is coming this year. Microsoft would have been hyping it to death, if it was gonna release this year. My best guess is that it will come during the next holiday season.
@1.1, I was literally thinking of the same thing. But I believe they should do the voice over from David Hayter because I think his voice is what makes his character more stronger more believable.

Campaign would be at max 8-10 hours long and I don't think there is a multiplayer component. Looks like a rental though.
Gears2 and Fable 2 are the only exclusive games i am looking forward to:P

Gears 2 looks more crisp, more sharp. The original was a jaw dropping game, it may not have the same effect due to the passage of time, but it does look great nevertheless. I bought a 360 just because of Gears and I am sure this time around Gears 2 gameplay will have the wow factor rather then the graphics.

I doubt this game will be as bad as Haze. Yes I own a PS3 and yes I rented Haze. I own a 360 as well. I am still interested in this game. One thing that is true is that this game will be slaughtered by reviewers. I don't understand how can they keep saying that this game is in production for 10 years? I mean yes this game was announced back in the ps1/ps2 days but this game that is going to release on 360 is a totally different game. Different engine, different gameplay, may be the same story...
Some details on multiplayer, a new level would be cool:P
Wow, talk about a negative preview. Well I do hope GG shows something innovative in Killzone 2 at this E3. Its kind of odd how they bash Killzone 2 for its scripted events and nothing new. Last time I checked Call of Duty 4 was the same thing. But it was praised to death & rightly so it was an excellent shooter.
By the way did he just say PS3 has a repeated lineup of 2006? I mean he considers LBP, Socom, MotorStorm 2, and R2 all bland games?
