I doubt it. Next year is too soon. They just have established a huge installbase. Plus developers won't be welcoming that change, as they have started to make profit on there console. I mean who wants to release a game on a new consoles when you have consoles with installbase around 20 million? 2009 is too early. But yeah late 2010 or 2011 is a sure shot.
Ofcourse there respective RnD dept. would have started working on it as soon as they got ps3, 360 and wii. But don't expect next PS3 atleast for 3-4 more years. 360 may be 2 more years. Wii no idea:(

Not be the pessimist over here. I love Killzone 2 as much as you guys do. But if anyone of you look at E3 2005 after party interview with Jack Tretton. He was the one who said that it was all real.

I could care less. I am as much hyped about Killzone 2 as anyone. But the truth is initially Jack claimed it was all real time in numerous interviews.

How can you not adore this game. I mean just look at the Dream Trailer for one second. How can you not smile at this game. Games like these comes ones in a lifetime.

I don't get it, wasn't there suppose to be a jaw dropping announcement? I mean there were some major announcements for PSP, but there wasn't any date reveals regarding ffv-xiii. Neither any thing concrete on ff-xiii.

Sony will/should show versus xiii at Leipzig. There must be a video leaked somewhere on youtube.

23-25 million install base is a little far fetched. But yeah this game should help spike PS3 sales this fall. Clash of the titans:)

Well I am guessing there will be some announcement from them at Leipzig. They have been working on something for the past 8-9 months. I am pretty sure its going to be Uncharted 2.
Just make the game longer and couple of varied environments and i am one happy gamer:D

I played the demo, I had a mixed reaction at first, the game graphics are ok, but the animation is really not on par with any good game out there. The weapons don't have weight etc. But having said all that, I enjoyed playing the game. There is some kind of addictive vibe to this game. If you like it you will want to play more, if you didn't get a hang of it, you will hate it.
