I have to agree, nothing is exclusive with third party titles this generation. It could simply happen a year after like FFXIII in Japan, but this time worldwide. Sure it was designed with PS3 in mind, but that doesn't mean it can't be ported at all. Anything is possible and Microsoft is always willing to hand out cash bags for such things. With the way Square has owned their fans up the ass I would not be surprised at all.
Hope it is not an announcement for the anime first strike or something, that would burn. Hopefully enough people buy this on the PS3 to restore their faith in releasing some jrpgs to westside.

Can we at least see a near simultaneous release worldwide? You want to break the western market but make us wait months after a Japanese release.
Sure it might be better on PS3, but that doesn't mean it will get a higher score. It just means there are more quality titles on the PS3 and to earn a higher score is difficult as a result of that ;)
It's one thing for the VA to record dubs and another to release the game. The port probably got lost in translation, no pun intended, due to financial problems and was cut from final release. If what the VA actors said was true, then it really sucks considering they did consider releasing it at one point to america. Who knows, maybe one day it will pop up on PSN instead.

They would probably have difficulty bringing Xenogears over to NA. This was the case back then and it was almost not released. A game too deep that questions your own existence? Nah... we can't have that.
tri-Ace has mentioned before their own in house game engine has been extended to multi platform starting with the work of Star Ocean. Should their games not be released on PS3 at the same time as the Xbox at this point, or not at all, we all know there are exclusivity abound.

Great review, great game. Try it if your an rpg fan who is looking for something unique, and a challenge.

The graphics are no FF but given the funding of this game vs FF, why would it be. It is plenty good though, aside from the gameplay, I'm loving the vibe the world gives off.

Star Ocean 4 was never labelled as Xbox360 only and was never an exclusive.
The people who have those games will likely have those first party titles you also listed.
