You're right. The recent games have been trash except Arceus. They sure do love trying to sell you those double packs.
What else was going to happen? We all like to play but Nintendon't.
Typical jargon that translates to: "It just works".
On Steam it's 26.99 right now. So far after a couple hours, I'm having a blast. The building and throwing the PALs around to fight is pretty fun. Sit back and watch them battle, it's hilarious. They even build for you.
Have you tried the "classic" mode option in FFVII Remake? I haven't personally but I've read that it's a turn-based mode that relies on an ATB gauge.
@GotGame818 I can literally play the Ubisoft classics with my PS Plus subscription. There's a section for it.
I totally would rather have physical discs but the problem nowadays is that a lot of games are not finished. Several have gamebreaking bugs that could stall your progress late in a game. So these games need a Day 1 patch or several patches to remedy the issues. I wouldn't care much to play vanilla Cyberpunk from a disc if I could no longer receive patches. The problem is with games being rushed out the door with "Gone Gold" status.
Ubisoft knows it and that's probably why they include it in Game Pass and PS Premium.
It sounds like they want the story to be something else. The game came out a few years ago. They should have focused on the actual changes or improvements that were made and not their personal feelings.
I miss the days of being able to unlock characters by meeting certain requirements or beating other specific characters in a storyline. Now they're all behind a paywall.
It's definitely part of the problem. There are so many live-service games with battle passes and MTs that rely on a growing player base. A handful of games are doing it right by getting their players addicted to game play and reward elements. So many others do it wrong and those players go back to the games dominating the market or back to single player games. Just look at how many games have been shut down in such a short amount of time because there are so many other options that do it ...
Gabe is laughing all the way to the bank.
Yep, I remember buying a 32MB Voodoo for Kingpin back in like 2000.
I was totally thinking this same thing. It would be "Essential for the massive library that is Game Pass which was brought to us by Lord Phil". Neither an Xbox One Series X Pro One X or PS5 Pro would be necessary but I would still want both and probably would buy both. I would have loved this generation to just waited a couple more years and pushed hardware that did 4K 60fps on every game no matter what.
Wrong.
It's the only thing Xbots had to play anyway. Of course it's going to have more hours played.
Of course it's good for you when it wasn't going to sell well in the retail space. 🤡🤡🤡
Although I miss the raging Kratos with the hack 'n' slash combos. the 3rd-person calculated God of War with RPG elements was a welcomed change. Imagine just being the same game like Assassin's Creed for more than a decade.
Sony should have approved Days Gone 2 and they wouldn't have this problem.

These clowns are mad because nobody is as hyped for their Turdemon games as they are with Palworld. Nintendo really should take a shot at developing for PC so that their Pokémon games can hit 60fps at all times.
