If you want to all of a sudden own them now and haven't played them yet because a remastered is coming out, shame on you. I can't believe people are complaining about this 15 years later when it was bound to happen anyway. "A new remaster is out, quick, I'd better buy the original from the shop."
Its like those gacha games that rely on the initial addiction. They only care about bringing in new players to constantly nickel and dime them until they quit.

Sony could print money with Days Gone 2 but instead they want to make this live service crap. There are too many shooters already dominating the market. This does not look or sound unique in any way that will draw a huge playerbase other than the initial launch.

At least design it in a way that makes sense. FFS, don't even make it have six chambers. Such a great idea to do a reload animation, showing me load six bullets but now I magically have 18. Yeah, ok. The game will be dead because greed not creativity is their motivator.
Turd of the Year 2026. The game is bad. Very boring, the map sucks and having 18-shot revolvers with a six-chamber cylinder just shows how lazy they are.
As much as I hope for this also, I feel like Nintendo won't bother since "you should have" the GameCube controller for Switch 2.
They probably wanted to sell XP booster microtransactions like they did with Valhalla.

Its sad, really. I enjoy all platforms for what they offer. Not being platform-specific is great for gamers. They each have their own ideas for games that they publish. Good games print money.

This is great news for everyone. Ps5 players get to enjoy the game, MS gets a cut to keep making these games and Nintendo gets to keep not releasing a new mainline Mario game.
