Yes, because Black Friday is in November.
These devs had to go through a lot to release this game. I'm enjoying it, slowly, but surely. They probably could have waited a bit but it's tough in their circumstances. I can't say anything about the Xbox version but the PC version is totally playable right now. There are some glitches and anomalies but still enjoyable.
I don't know how deep the discount will go since Disney is tied to this but I definitely won't be buying the Ultimate edition until it's like $30.
I just played for about 30 minutes. "Rough" isn't the word. The framerate is all over the place. I'm playing on a 4K 138Hz monitor with G-sync and an RTX4090 and 12700k, 32GB RAM. Even on low it's horrendous. It'll be 67fps, I'll turn, it'll dip to 35 and I'll go out in the open, it'll hit 27. This is with DLSS on. Quality to performance DLSS is only like a 17fps difference on average. The frame timing, stuttering and mouse input lag is terrible even ...
These guys had inspiration by looking out their office window.
I wonder if these reviews were finished before that massive day-1 patch. I'm looking forward to jumping in on PC. 154.5 GB download on Steam. That's crazy, I'm gonna have to go run some errands and come back to check. If it is that jank, I'm glad Steam has a good refund policy.
I believe it was a freebie download last month.
I bought the physical HELL-A addition last year for like $40 from Best Buy but it came with all the DLC. It's a blast to play with friends.
As much as I didn't wanna get it now, I pulled the trigger with my Target Red Card, got 5% off and sold my base PS5. I can't wait for GTA 6 and you never know if that new console tariff will really hit anytime soon. I'm enjoying it so far especially with how much better Dead Island 2 looks on the Pro. PSSR is interesting and this seems to be a test for what the PS6 is really planned to be.
I wish they modded it to use the twin stick layout like the 360 remastered version instead of the single n64 joystick or at least gave the option.
Yeah, right. LMAO. Should just call them BioSnore at this point. The voice-acting is absolutely horrendous.
The proof is in the pudding. We need concrete evidence. I hate the whole "8K" narrative. 8K isn't even common yet. It's not the standard. I've still yet to see 4K Native, 60fps, for any games, all the time on any console. This war is such a snoozefest. PC is where it's at if you want to hit those numbers, right now.
This definitely a wait-for-a-sale type of game for me. It'll definitely drop early next year.
I know exactly what you mean. It's the constant desire to level up and even more so with rewards attached to those levels, aka, the Battle Pass. These games do need a constant flow of income to continue to be supported later on in their lifecycle.
CoD on any sort of streaming service must be miserable. The timing and sbmm is just too twitchy. I don't see it being popular on fire sticks.
It feels like that means that people aren't throwing our their PS5s for Xbox consoles to play CoD on Game Pass after all. It's literally more expensive to play CoD on Game Pass PC for a whole year than to buy it outright. It's cool that Xbox is making money but how will they invest it back into their gaming division to make quality, 1st-party games? I still want Perfect Dark. Come on, Dude Bros. I'll wait for it.
Live service has a stigma attached to it because people don't like to have MTs shoved in their face when they play an online-only game. People also don't like to buy Map Pack DLCs that divided the community because not everyone wants to buy them. I miss the days of Uncharted 2 MP. That was a solid game without all the MT nonsense. I also hated spending $50 on a CoD season pass to never play the new maps that a lot of the community didn't buy. There's a certain balance that mos...
I remember having to save every time I found something or every minute, whichever came first.
Lol. Clickbait.
Fixed an issue where an invisible wall at the entrance to Goron City would impede progress during a Main Quest at Eldin Volcano.
Fixed an issue at a particular location where the player could target empty space, then bind to that target and pull in a way that would impede progress.
Fixed various issues to create a smoother gaming experience.
They keep creating editions with DLC characters and bad stories. What's next? Ultimate Gold Chaos Reigns MK Super Fatality edition that unlocks 3 more characters? Nonsense.
