Actually looks like a pretty good platformer which has been kinda awol for a while which makes it hard to scratch that itch lately. I like it. And it brings with it the feeling of the ps1/2 n64 era.

90% of their recent products are commercial failures. Nothing remotely new either. I mean Sony had their hands in pc gaming for quite some time going back to Everquest. Wouldnt be the least surprised if they choose to do a little more in that arena being that eventually thats the direction things will eventually head
Amazon disagrees. They kinda brute forced there way into markets by not making much profit and taking a massive cut to starve out competitors and take over. Same with Walmart. And Uber did it with taxi cabs. And Tesla with electric self driving vehicles and SpaceX. Disruptive companies like this will be a thing for a while. Im more concerned with what games we can possibly see. Happily take a new rebooted version of some of their older games. Smugglers Run or Oni would be cool. What would happen with Oblivion? People forget that Oblivion was a Take2 game as well. And maybe we can see something done with Manhunt and Agent can possibly resurface as well.
The problem is that they make record profit on these games. but the drive to forever increase profits means that it just isnt enough anymore. before 100m ROI on a project costing 10m would be great 15+ years ago. let alone anything more. Now they want a billion plus ROI while cutting corners and using old engines with little innovation. Of course its unsustainable when you continuously raise expectations.
Yet some studios just keep churning out AAA titles without complain...
I'd gladly wait 5 years if that's what it takes. I'm just tired of the quality of games they put out simply cause its damn near a 21 year engine. That's just disgusting to me. Seems so against the progress of the art and the industry. And the graphics wouldn't even be the issue. How about just more modern implements like physics or AI or better mechanics.

They looked great pre ps3/360 era. Then the vocal minority of people complained that they didn't want cgi cutscenes and wanted in engine cutscenes because it represented the game accurately and cause it broke immersion after it went back into gameplay. Yea they cried and got it and it sucked cause i missed the days of great looking cutscenes. I remember seeing it slowly change and i cried inside.
