Exactly what Chris said. I too have played a number of MMO's and you simply don't play other games when you have a good MMO. Maybe iPhone games and such but nothing that takes up time because your always looking for that new head piece or enchant or collecting 15 billion shiny orbs for an upgrade.

Thing about it all is. This guy is a senior editor of GI. Joe Juba. Which means he gets just about every single game released without a price tag attached to it. So he can defend playing a 4 or 6 hour game if it's non stop fun. I however can not justify spending 60$ on a 4-5 hour game anymore. I simply don't have the budget. Hence why I am waiting for games like Enslaved to come down in price. I want to play it and I heard its good but just can't spend that kind of money on a game...

First Giant Bomb is not a heavy pro PS3 site in anyway... Not even close.

Second I am a huge PS3 fan and have been for a very long time. I do not own a 360 because I find them to be useless POS machines. That being said I can understand some of the complaints. No matchmaking and really odd menu choices can be a big let down in a game with a lot of menus and online.

I dunno about the premium vs normal cars. What I want to see is them take a normal car from GT...

i hear ya. I refused to buy it for myself but bought it for someone for Xmas... I didn't want to support acti but it's what they wanted... I have a feeling I will be getting it as well for Xmas but who knows...

I really enjoyed the demo myself. Very hopeful for this game now. Was so under my radar before. Excited.

Warhammer was a lot more successful then AOC, I wouldn't Consider AOC successful... However EVE is probably more successful then all those imo.

Just because a game is on steam does not in some way mean that it is a microsoft game... Thats like saying Toshiba gets royalties whene...

PS3 owners also get Sly Cooper(I seem to be the only one excited for this though). Move games like Time Crisis. WKC came out this year if your into that. Also Mafia 2 DLC, MOH Frontlines.... I mean it's little things here and there but couple that with Crafts list and the PS3 had a decent year. Yeah a lot of stuff got pushed back sadly Like DC universe, LBP2 etc but I still get to play them all soon and not be hurting to find cash for gifts at Christmas... I guess you can always be an opt...

I limit myself to one game a month and I really wanted it to be this game but I think I might hold off for BFBC2 Vietnam pack and get SW:TFU2 instead if the reviews are good... I had high hopes for this and castlevania... It's not that the game looks BAD. but a 4-5 hour campaign with shallower MP doesn't seem like a buy to me... They said they have been working on the game for 3 years too... Thats a long time for so little...

You know dylanation. I kinda feel you. As much as I would love to try the tech and appreciate it there seems to be a few problems I have. 1st is games are lacking so far. The only game that has really peeked my interest so far is Ocarina of time and I think I have beaten that game 4 or 5 times total and kinda not in the mood to play again. If I were I would play my limited edition promo disc for gamecube.
