There is a very big summer lul currently in effect. Very few games being released and very little info coming out at least until comic con. Possibly Leipzig or TGS. So what else do sites have to do but ask questions, do comparisons and speculate in order to keep hits up and be able to feed themselves? They can make "Top 10 list of 'fill in the blank'" ...

Bioshock is 20$ on steam. There is also a huge 2K pack sale going on right now. you get like 250$ dollars worth of games for like 50$ Bioshock is in it. I think if you get steam and search for 2k it pops right up. I played it on PC myself because I am a cheap bastage as well and i really enjoyed it on PC much more so then consoles myself. I had it on 360 a while back but the scroll wheel on my mouse and the actual interface i preferred...
I have. I have all these games and beat them all. DMC 4 is probably the worst on the list but yeah... I guess at a lower then 65$ price point it's worth it.
Totally agree. Fantastic game. Awesome control, creativity and the last 10 seconds made any doubts about the game totally worth it. My ONLY issue with the game is I felt compelled to save non stop. That is a problem with many horror games but man was I immersed int hat game.
I am a PS3 fanboy through and through but for some reason I like the off the wall exclusives and don't follow the crowd much on opinion. I disliked MGS4 and KZ2. They both delivered in graphics but to me MGS had too much... I hate to say it but Asian WTF moments. Monkeys stealing your smokes and drebin... who the heck is he?... Way too much"Get on with it already" for me. I am a big fan of go go go and this game came to a scretching halt for me at times like when otocon and that one...
This is kind of a 'Should have played" like a while ago type article... Those games are newer. i.e. "this year" so maybe they shouldn't be in the list... Great games though. Infamous is one of the reasons I love gaming. Got my platinum. First one too.
I had it. Too much loading for me. Felt like half the game was loading screens. Really good story and original content and made fun use of sixaxis. Fantastic art direction and everything but for me, personally, the loading took me so far out of the immersion i had to trade it in but I do recommend it to people all the time.

The XBL and WOW experiences are just not comparable. They are on totally different levels/systems/what have you. PSN and XBL are comparable. Why? because they provide similar content/options. At least 99x closer then WoW and XBL. It truly is apples and oranges. It's like Leasing and buying a SUV and a Smart car. To each his own but when comparing PSN to XBL it's more along the lines of "Free ford fusion" vs "Monthly fee for Prius" Most normal...

the big thing you are missing is wow is not like psn. Wow is not like x l either. Wow is like an mmo while online gaming services are different... Xbl is like psn though. Both have movies. Online games. Tv shows. Dlc. Cod4... Much the same in many ways... Except one is free. One has 256 players. Shared community content. Mod support. Bluray support with bdlive. Browser. Many other things too. The one you pay for has cross game chat and... Music sharing... Look there is no...

It's apples and oranges man. But if u want examples how's about play create share. Mods for free in games like UT3 or 64 players online currently in R2. And 256 coming within a yearbas demo'd live on stage up and running flawlessly. Has xbl even gotten numbers up to warhawk standards yer I.e. 32? Oh and it's not pay to play u just need the game

I think all the MMO's will suffer from the FF14 announcement. MMO geeks(Like myself) likely wont want to invest heavily in any other console MMO... However since the PS3 has mouse/keyboard compatibility it would be great to see it go cross platform.
