The ONLY thing sony needs to do is lower the price. I think the price it is right now is extremely reasonable but people can't see the value because of marketing(Or lack there of) and because people are happy with smaller investments over time as opposed to one big investment all at once. If sony takes out Wi Fi or even the modem completely they will be able to lower the price. If they put Sixaxis instead of DS3's in the box they can lower the price. Funny thing is the retail disc game is 19.99$... I don't get it. Whats the benefit of games on demand? Serious question. I have been out of the loop for a few weeks(Vacation) I am assuming it's digital distribution but how is it different from what live already offers? I know you can already get full retail games(Burnout paradise) on XBL and PSN already... So I don't get it. It's more expensive then a retail disc with no trade in value or collectible status in any way right?

My problem is that this isn't new technology it's just marketed as such. I hope they come up with good innovative games and not Wii knockoff's... however i feel hardcore games wont see the light of motion control for a long time still. Honestly it sounds like PR spin to counter MAG... Honestly I don't even think people want Halo to become Socom.... I am not a halo fan but I prefer it to socom myself. To me the run and gun is just more fun but meh. Hopefully it turns out well for halo fans.
I honestly won buy it either way. Too little to late IMO but truthfully the fallout DLC was announced as exclusive from the start. Now it isjust timed. Probably once whatever time limit is up it will come to the PS3 but I could care less before now or later about buying it. And since no one here has seen the contract all u have is speculation but with things like braid coming to PSN and the fallout DLC and other stuff I really don't see it as much of a stretch...
