Still gotta try Burnout. I currently have GRiD and played it nonstop for several days and now I'm burnt on it. Just waiting to trade it back before trying PGR 4. I know, I know. But I still want to at least try it. I really liked PGR 3.
Like I always say, You're only as old as the games you play.
I really like the racing games when I need a break from the FPS and the RPGs get too slow paced.
@CrAppleton -- 1996 is considered old? Old is playing Pong off a game system my dad made from a kit. Old is playing Dig Dug in the corner convenience store. Old is going to the mall arcade and playing Donkey Kong. Old is thinking Asteriods was a damn lot of fun. That's old. 1996 was 12 years ago.
Not everyone can be as good as GamesAreEvil.
Look who he's using for a picture. No wonder the low bubs.
Going against the grain here and I gave him negative feedback. No, really. I did. I gave negative feedback.
Will this one ever come to the 360?
Are the games getting easier, or, after a lifetime of playing games, are you just too good?
I like the idea of games getting harder based on your skill level. If the game sees that you're advancing too quickly, then the bad guys should get tougher and multiply.
I never played any of the earlier versions, so my eyes are open on this one. I look forward to your final review of the game after it releases. Maybe you guys will get an early copy?
I'll put this one in the queue.
Wasn't the Xbox version supposed to get some DLC? That's what I want to know about. Oh wait. Never mind. I traded my copy. Took to long for new fa-shizz to come out...
Yeah, that was a fun read, and very different than most reviews out there. Really gives a feel for what real gamers, not some reviewer sitting in a corporate cube, thinks about the game.
Gotta go read this. BRB
Hmm, I need to get caught up on 1 through 3.
Jazzy Jackrabbit? What the heck is that? He's responsible for Unreal Tournament? That one definitely has a love/hate relationship with most gamers. They either love it or hate it.
He definitely hit a home run with GoW though.
I wasn't either. After reading several glowing reviews, I finally downloaded the demo and played it, and was like, what was that?
I guess I need to try the multiplayer...?
That would rule me out. I gots me a 360. I was thinking about picking this one up, but I'll probably wait a little longer, like maybe over the summer or something.
Judging by the blurb, looks like we're ready for family reading time!
Sorry, I was tripping down memory lane. I haven't played any of those games for decades. Sorry if that confused you.
