I also like the idea of not dying. Especially if it is due to jumping off a cliff. Dying is such a waste of time and the elimination of loading screens is very welcome.
It's probably been a good 20 years since I've played Prince of Persia on the PC. I remember liking the game. I'm sure I won't even recognize the new version.
As for realism vs. cartoon, I'm open to the cartoon aspect. Realism is fine for racing games or other games where realistic factors weigh in heavy in a game, but a game like this isn't really realistic, so a cartoon look-and-feel is probably better.
I like to think that I'll play all games eventually, this one just isn't at the top of my list. Maybe during the summer when the new releases slow down.
I'll put this one on my list of games to play, eventually, down the road sometime.
