I'm hoping so. It might be just another open world sandbox game, but those games are fun to play.
People really seem to love the demo and the game. But I didn't see it when I played the demo. Then again, I'm a huge Mercs 2 fan, so it will take a lot to convince me. I'll pick it up through Goozex.
If it's true, then it might be time to buy that second console.
OK. I'll keep an open mind on it and put it on the back burner. I'm sure it will drop in price in a few months.
I'll probably pass on this one. I'm still neck-deep in Dragon Age and haven't started Mass Effect 2 yet. Great review though. It's a good read.

Yeah, I agree with you, but I think what he was saying is that putting extreme twists or surprises in a game is a big risk. If you really peeve off the player, you might not get them back.
Yeah, there should be an option to immediately start your last saved game and bypass all the opening logos that you've seen 1000 times before.
I DL'd the demo a couple days ago and still haven't tried it. Too many negative reviews. BUT... I'll give it a shot. Maybe when the value goes down I'll pick it up in a few months.

If this game is like Mercs 2, I'll love it; if it's frustrating like Red Faction: Guerilla, I'll hate it. But judging by this review of the demo, I'll probably love it.
Argh! My Mage's staff turned into a snake and bit me. Actually, while that would be pretty cool, it would also kinda suck. But then again, it's only in the demo, right?
