Even with the bugs, I still want to play New Vegas. Hopefully, they will have some patches before I finally get to it.

A quick dollar that they won't get a second time when they continually release buggy games.
For the buggy games, just rent 'em or get 'em through Goozex. Tell the publishers you're not going to pay $60 for a buggy game.

Sports was not a main motivation to get Google TV, but I saw a chink in the armor of Cable TV, and wanted to expose it. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

I don't know that much about Apple TV, but it seems severely lacking in functionality as compared to Google TV.
Yeah, that's just it: it's kind of a "future" type-of-thing in terms of apps and full access to network TV.
BUT, it's fully functional now and is high on the Cool factor.
