Hate to tell you it didn't flop, so go ahead and take your fanboy crap else where, this is by far one of the funnest games out in a long time (especially if you have friends to multiplayer with). It's a shame how jealous people get. Or maybe your not a fanboy and just so simple minded that the game is to much for you?

Oh damn, I remember playing Road Rash on my PS1, that's the only one I had, but man I loved that game, completely forgot about it, wouldn't mind seeing one of those again either :D

Despite however many sales the game has I hope everyone has a chance to play this game (especially with friends). It's a great game that I can play anytime, and there are plenty of different varieties of maps to choose from, it really never gets old.
yeah and DVD killed the ps2 right? Sony made the right decision, and as time goes on we will be able to see more clearly. Besides gears2 isn't even the best looking game out right now (in comparison with ps3 exclusives), so I'm not sure where you are going with that. Blu-ray won the HD format war thanks to Sony and the PS3, so that's more money to Sony.
I try to not hype up games, but games like this are an exception, it's going to be amazing and I really can't wait for it to be released.
And if any of you people here who own ps3's have yet to play uncharted, then I highly suggest you go buy the 1st one now before the 2nd one comes out, it should be a pretty good price by now.
Really can't wait for this game, as the 1st one is one of my favorite games released this gen, and can't wait for the 2nd. And also them talking about 100percent, keep in mind they never said they were using 100% of the ps3 power, but are aiming towards that goal, which every game developer should do, whether or not they make it to that point though is unknown. This game is going to be a day one purchase for me no doubt about it.
Games that pop out to me on that list, are Alan Wake, Mass Effect 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, and Star Ocean 4, maybe Huxley, although I don't know about that game, and it has been delayed so much who knows how that will be, the idea sounds good though. Right now it's obviously looking like the ps3 is going to have exclusives on lockdown for 09 if everything is released when it's supposed to. Even without the exclusives (although the games are going to be awesome), there are still going to be some awesome multiplats coming out (RE5! especially). Unfortunately people care a lot about things they don't have in this console "war". Just look at what happens to exclusive games on metacritic, fanboys from both sides go and attack the user review scores of games way before the games are even out. And most likely they will never even play it either. So I expect a lot of 360 fanboys to just play this as a "stupid", etc etc... just because they won't have it. I for one could do without, and am not really hyped up or anythin...
If I use home to be honest, I wont be using it as a "social network" really, I will most likely be using it with a group of friends then just jump right into a game from there. Then I will probably check out the game trailers and movie trailers. I won't be using real money, but if I get something out of the trophies then I will get stuff. I'll see for myself what it is like, as I'm not that hyped for it in the first place, but you act as if it's killing you inside to not have the same on the 360. You not liking it would not be considered a flop, it would be considered "not your style", considering mgs4 probably has the best chance at winning game of the year, and for me and so many others was a game I simply couldn't put down until I finished it, and then immediately started back up another game on Big Boss Hard.

Although I did give haze a negative comment already on this, I will have to agree. It didn't deserve as rough of scores as it got, I my self wouldn't have given it higher than an 8, but it was scoring in the 50's which shouldn't have been the case. Assassins Creed was iffy for me, I enjoyed the story line it had, and the freedom to go around, and climb around like a crazy person, But it was way to repetitive, and the guards were so dumb... **STAB** ***BOWS DOWN and prays while he walks over the dead bod*** <-- well obviously he couldn't have killed him he is praying!
But there is definitely room for improvement, and since I enjoyed the story, I will buy the next one to continue where I left off, but hopefully the game ...
The voice acting in Haze kills me, there's more to add to the list, but man is that bad. Only reason I picked it up was because it was 20bucks, and for that it's not to bad, but I could have done better if I looked harder in the low price used games. I always like to see things for myself before I judge them to be terrible or not, one day I will do the same with LAIR, when it knocks itself down the price more though. It's sad when we are in these rough times and so many people are losing there jobs, yet the good ol' kids of n4g turn it into a ps3 vs 360 deal, and try to cheer this on as the "fall of sony". Truly is amazing the level some people drop down to during this little "fanboywar".

Really the only reason the sales aren't that high is due to the ps3's price point, which when you add the effects of our economy, obviously consumers are going to be drawn toward a 360 and wii.
