Beta Tested in the Future huh?

Sounds to me MS is saying that their gaming console was designed to be future poof.

remember MS brought Nokia, Skype, they've invested a lot of money in the cloud technologies/kinect, etc.

also we all know that The x1 is an all in one entertainment system.

mmmm,Sounds ubiquitous to me.

well, 5 years from now just about every electronic device is going to be interconnected......

I can clearly see the only way the cloud would work if it does calculation in repeated segment, but not nonstop.

Maybe in like 5 years things would change, but not today.

@Logic

I agree, I think Sony should still manufacture the original vita for the west market.

The vita started picking up steam right after the reveal of the PS4, before that the vita was a complete failure.

I think the reason for the vita craze right now is the fact that one take play their PS4 games on the go.

Beside, OLED screen maintain brightness better outdoors.

The original vita's OLED screen looks better than the new vita's LCD screen in my opinion. Not by much though..i'd say its about 20% better.

True!

There's a good chance Sony might real the THE LAST GUARDIAN at TGS.

Its only fair...Sony had a few surprises for the American gaming audience at e3 2013.
So, I think Sony will do them same thing for the Japanese gaming audience and surprise them.

I can't wait to see more deep down game play footage.

I completely agree with this article. balancing between quality and performance is tough. They never fully know the full potential of a dev kit until they start adding more feature/effects.

Most Dev get carried away by adding too much effect to their games because it looks cool; and the cpu/gpu takes a performance hit. They're either have to tone down the graphic or use less effect to give balance(graphics/performance) to their games.

But that'd all c...

the deep down e3 trailer does look better than the JP reveal's deep down demo.

But what most of you don't realize that most DEv don't know the real potential of a dev kit until they start adding more feature to their games. Some times Dev have to be forced to take stuff out to give balance.

So the DEv might've decided that they wanted to add some advance features that wasn't in their first game built; like accumulation of mold, dirt and ...

Ive done enough research.

That facts are the facts.

Both PS4 and X1 cpu/gpu are build using the 29nm process. That why MS/Sony were able to increase the clock speed of their console in the first place.

Also being that the PS4/X1 are using chips that are build using 3d structure on the die the transistors are tightly structured close together. also the transistors are structured next to each other so the heat sink will absorb the heat much mor...

rumor of PROD issues? what site?

cause I haven't heard anything regarding PORD issue however i have heard of several rumor stating that MS were having some manufacturing issue months ago,but thats all.

4523d ago 4 agree2 disagreeView comment

the Xbox one's cpu/gpu are manufactured using the 29nm process so it highly likely the x1 would over heat(PROD)

Beside, why else would MS increase the clock speed if they knew it was going to result to PROD.

To add the that, the 29nm chip uses 3d structure on the die, not 2d structure like the ps3/xbox which means the heat sink sitting on top of the chips would do a much better job at dissipating the heat.

I'm little disappointed about the news because drive club is a first gen game.

So I wasn't expecting to hear that the DEV are struggling to achieve 60fps in drive club.

having both MS and Sony's released their gaming console on the same is not safe and would probably be too much for the law to handle.

Agreed, Deep down looks phenomenal. I really like how full and rich those graphic looks on screen.

The physics animation were very smooth and responsive. The way the beast fell backwards with ease tells me the PS4 is indeed a power house.
the realistic lighting effect are amazing.

The armored warrior walk animation are realistic, the foot steps were heavy & the way his body sifts side to side are spot on.

Deep down is a must game....

You're quite welcome.

No hard feelings cause we all learn from each other anyway.

Honestly, I don't take stuff to seriously on here like most people on NG4. so its ok.

Thank you for the nice comment BTW. Til next time. Bubble to you too!

@GribbleGrunger

My bad I'm not perfect. actually I never owned a vita but form my experience I know a firmware are normally used to change the functionally of a hardware.

so again, my bad

the vita can now remote play to the ps3 because of a hack right?

http://www.youtube.com/watc...

4525d ago 0 agree6 disagreeView comment

There's always a workaround to bypass any security encryption, that I know.

Its a cat and mouse games.

Beside, company in the past have cashed in on many successful hacks.

Example: The original xbox was turned in to a media hub through hacking and companies like MS cashed in on it.

OH, just recently the vita remote play idea came from hacking.

Sony took that idea and ran with it.

you see...
