Halo 2 was a fantastic game in its own right, and was without doubt the second best game on the xbox - BUT it wasnt as good as Halo 1, and because of that people slagged it off big time

I think that the PS3 only has a chance of winning the war at a mainstream price of say $200-$350. The faster they drop to that kind of price, the larger chance they have of winning (because if they leave it too long, the fanbase and libraries of the xbox 360 and PS3 will get too large to compete with and sony exclusives will begin going multi-platform)

Even if some of the games listed arent confirmed like GOW2, you can bet that the 360 will have a bigger and better library than the PS3 over the next two years

At this stage - it seems that all of their first party 2007 titles are coming out around the Europe launch, which will undoubtebly help it over here.
But what will Sony have (on a first party level) to compete with Halo 3, Alan Wake, Fable 2, Metroid, and Mario over christmas? when the majority of consoles are sold?
In regards to this particular game... it looks nice but... its a bloody dragon game for christs sake, it doesnt seem that interesting.

the Wii isnt competing with the 360 and the PS3.... its competing with the PS2 - so lets leave it in the last gen and focus on the important issues

wow. a sequel to the game that only sold because it was painted as a "halo-killer", which is so far along in development all we've seen is a pre-rendered video which wasnt even authorized by guerilla themselves, and was passed of as actual gameplay..
