first party 360 titles are 39.99 GPB in the UK, the same as the PS3 - prices for third party titles are 50 GPB for the 360, and are yet to be announced for the PS3 so this article is pointless
Not only because of the 360's huge line-up of great titles, but simply because its A halo release year. I know a consoles success does not rely on one game... but to put it into perspective, the only christmas the xbox ever outsold the PS2 was 2004 when Halo 2 was released in November. As we know, the xbox came distant second in the last generation, So i can only dream about what kind of effect Halo will have on a relatively succesful console:

It doesnt matter if the PS3 launch was more succesful than the 360 launch... at the end of the day Sony has to beat the xbox 360 of today, not the xbox 360 a year ago, so in that sense unless the PS3 outsells the 360 in a given month theres no way they're going to catch up, in fact the gap is widening
The 360 is beating a console which was only launched at christmas - looks like the post - launch hysteria has already worn off. And those who say the PS3 is catching up... to catch up the PS3 would actually have to outsell the 360... otherwise it will always be 10million+ ahead... its pretty simple logistics.
I hear these new black 360's run faster too, with the new 65mm chips :p
