I refunded my presell the day he said this crap. Activision wants to believe that it's a seller's market so lets teach them the error of this thought.
Edge has it's own opinion on what constitutes a good game or a bad game. I am not going to fault the magazine for having one. I may like a game that Edge didn't, but that didn't take away my enjoyment of playing. I even have friends who disagree with my tastes but I don't wish them any harm. It regards to the conduit, after playing through it once, I would put it at a 5. At best, it is a bland shooter.

The writing on the wall was back then but the fan group got a reprieve. Why they didn't start their own ip instead? As for Activision, maybe they looked at what the fan group had so far and thought it was crap and could possibly ruin the King Quest name. It is Activision's responsibility to protect, and who knows, maybe they have plans to do an rpg or mmo with it.
