For the last several years I've seen hard stagnation in gaming. It's becoming the standard to copy pasta and to make endless sequals. It really saddens me.
This game doesn't really appeal to me so far, but I am truly happy it exists. I smirk when I see something new these days, it's unfortunate that a medium of definitive creativity doesn't come up with these projects more often.
Imagine if every painter was a Bob Ross impersonator? "...
For the past 15 or so years I've dream't of making love to Sakura Haruno.
To this day as a grown man I still hold onto the dream.

Same thing my dad said about phones when I was a kid. Look how silly he looks now?
Yea... It's really getting old playing new games, especially, "AAA", games day 1 and it only feels half finished with no polish. It's legitimately getting to the point where when I play a game, I can feel where part of the game was ripped out, and will be resold to me 6 months later.
Imagine if James Cameron's Avatar came out and there was no sky? Or half way through the movie the main actor fell through the floor or their bow disappeared?

No I don't even know who this person is. Why do people care so much? I see this guys face all over this website.
I make predictions all the time, why doesn't someone email me for a photo?
Threeeefitty.
Auug... I've become what I loath most... A shit poster...
What people should ask themselves is, "Where is VR's place, period?"
VR in gaming is obviously beneficial, but as hardcore as a gamer I am, i'm honestly more interested in it's other possibilities.
Virtual live events, concerts, live VR post education, VR tours, social gatherings, maintaining long distance relationships, distant family gatherings, VR dating, vr prostitution, mental health applications, physical rehabilitation, porn, private...
How come every time I see an article from GamingBolt, I feel like it was written to anger adolescents into fighting in the comments?
The last few months I've started enjoying my own, "game". I look at flame baiting articles and ask myself before I check, "is it GamingBolt?".
Oh well... Not like my comment is any more useful.
I think the point was someone laughing at us for allowing ourselves to click on an article that said porn.
I genuinely feel ashamed, I should have ignored this. I didn't, and I have to live with that. But I will move forward and learn from this.
Well I can't offer much debate, I bought the PS3 late last gen and the news stories were long over. With all I know the ps3 was greasy and corporate and evil and screwed everyone over.
I went into this gen and was greatly offended by Microsoft's message to gamers.
The Xbox1:
-Demanded a constant connection to their service to use.
-NO used games.
-Forced kinect sensor. Always watching/listening to you. ...
Sold mine last year.
But I do admit... I did look back, and still do once and awhile. I miss Mario Kart, and I REALLY want to play Mario Maker.
Well... We'll see. I'm on the fence. I don't want to buy a U again, then have the next console come out soon after with a new Mario Kart or Mario Maker... I'll feel double burned.
That's trailer park life.

Stepping stones to a dream that's exist in an age long after we're gone. LONG AFTER.
I'm all for artificial intelligence, and complex algorithms in video games that lead to the birth of a virtual universe, self awareness and virtual life, but that time isn't now. And it certainly isn't No Mans Sky.
I get what your talking about, moving forward and everything. But I never once argued against your dream, I just wa...
The highest I've ever done has been 2-way CF/SLI, but even then they had significant issues through several generations of cards in several pc's. Multi GPU has never been supported well and has a plethora of issues with 2 way alone. I've seen 3 way and 4 way benchmarks, synthetic aside, in real life situations in most games the 4th card doesn't even register and the 3rd card loses over half of its benefit.

I really hope someday we don't have to buy several boxes to enjoy the same identical digital content. But brand loyalty is beyond sense...
Wouldn't it be great if we could buy the, "ps5", where we could play PC, PS, Microsoft, Nintedo, handheld games ALL IN ONE?!?!?
No more fire hazards, no more extension cords, no more bulky shelves taking up space. No more teenagers fighting over who's toy is cooler.
Just good content...
I cant STAND these ridiculous over the top cases anymore. Who, "even with cash to burn", uses 4 graphic cards!? 4-way barely works!
Moving, replacing parts, or cleaning these rigs are a complete and total nightmare.
How many HDD slots are, "most", people honestly going to use? At most Maybe 2? Or a SSD and a HDD as backup? Certainly not 10+
It's expensive as well, but I'm using an NCASE and in a Mini Itx case the heig...
What I would give for a Bloodborne 2... I haven't beaten a game 5+ times in a row since... jesus, Diablo 2?
It's not inaccurate. Use all the technical babble you want, but in the end SB and Terraria are almost the same exact game time and time again with different unit locations and twists in the world.
No Mans Sky MAY be the next step in procedural software. It MAY end up making unique randomly generated species and biomes, world sizes, etc.
But it's not going to add story content. Nor main characters, voiced dialogue, text dialogue, direction, or meaning....
Couldn't agree more. Once the initial, "Wow it's different every game!", wonder wears off, you realize it's the same thing time and time again.
Procedural generation doesn't offer substance, it's just the same building some artist made colored differently, twisted, turned, re-sized again and again.
One thing that can be said is it works very well for sandbox games like Minecraft. Because your collecting and exploring.
The problem with Siege is it's content, especially when weighed vs it's prequals.
The n64 version had significantly more, "game", than this thing has and it came out what? ... 20 years ago? "I could be bogus, I cant remember well anymore."
I'm sure it's a lot of fun for many people, but for people like me who fell in love with the R6 games long ago, seeing this quarter completed abomination offends me to no end.
