We'll that's the problem with subjective debate with little to no information. It becomes a popularity show or a conspiracy and nobody can debate with any lick of common sense.

In topics like this people should come together with new pieces of information to help piece a real picture together, not be adversarial.

*Edit: I'm out of bubbles, Bye Khaotic.

@Kenshin_BATT0USAI

After looking into their relationship more closely, all I can find is an interview they did back in December, and a twitter picture of them meeting in Tokyo. It may be known, "thank you though for clearing it up", but it's certainly not well known. Neither do I see how that has anything to do with my previous post. He could be a journalist, his dad, his boyfriend. It doesn't really matter. I didn't post for subjective debate, I want to...

@ThePope

I've noticed that, having bought a few remasters, "of games I've never played before I must add", that they really hold up even now. I guess art never truly ages.

Man i'm not trying to stir the nest, but I've been keeping in touch with this Konami/Kojima fiasco.

In everything that's happened I have yet to see anyone come out with a statement or explanation. People are grouping together and coming to popular beliefs based on theory and slight observation but come on...

Did that game awards announcement with Kojima being banned, "the first solid statement we've heard on whats going on", not thro...

You're right, but their IP's not family members. All they need is someone passionate to bring them into the future. IP stagnation is a big problem these days, look at call of duty? God... But that's also a mindless, wondering cover shooter.

I'd think Gears/Halo is a lot more than that, don't you?

3720d ago 1 agree3 disagreeView comment

I won't lie I really enjoyed it's cover mechanics back in the day. I haven't played since Gears 1 though, I feel kind of lost.

I wonder if Gears of War 4 will be accessible for a newer audience?

Don't allow yourself to fanboy over a product you don't even have yet. Tested or not, we have no idea where this technology is going to go. You are officially an early adopter. The market needs you to judge where an industry may go with something new. And considering you shelled out 700-1000 dollars for this product I suspect you enjoy the idea of VR, you'd be doing yourself a favor to enjoy them all.

@sdplisken

I don't know what to say, PS4 is great.

But, ps4 doesn't have POE, the mmo genre, strategy genre, point and click. It doesn't have mobas, it doesn't have Mount and Blade, it doesn't have Kerbal Space Program, Rust, 7 Days to Die, Civilization, Sims, Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous, The Torment series, grim dawn, black desert, lineage eternal. Pretty much the entire kickstarter system, very few early access games are planning to mo...

@afg4everpsn Ahh, I read the manga so I thought he meant the game was episodic.

Next episode? You mean there was a prequel to this game that came out before?

If so, what are your personal opinions on it?

Anyways, what happened was, "Before they made changes after everything happened", a game you purchased was forever tied to an account. You would not have legal obligation to resell a game unless you sold someone your entire account. So I guess it's plausible, technically you'd be able to sell a used game? ...But realistically it's not, "and that's if the Terms of Service even legally gave you ownership of your digital account, which ...

True to real life graphics are a long ways off. There is just no conceivable way that 4K is going to be a big thing next gen.

Graphics are going to get an upgrade, games are going to look better, FPS will hopefully be 60. But a jump to 4k resolution? It's not just unlikely, but it's also not plausible. For two reasons.

1:

4K tv's are a minority. Consoles don't split it's own viewership. They won't downgrade the mass...

I agree, but I will NEVER trust a single gaming studio on this planet EVER again if it's released on pc.

Of course I'd buy it on pc, it's my ultimate platform of choice, but to be greasy little snake oil salesman and just, "forget to talk about it being a multiplatform game", just to maximize sales, and tease fans of the series to buy the game twice is just unacceptable.

Seems like developers watched GTA5 and are learning from their mani...

Yea, I upgraded mine because 500gb was just a friggen joke. Anyone know if the new bundle is a 7200 RPM HDD? Or is it a 5400?

You really believe after my post that I don't have a clue of what I'm talking about? You even agreed with some of my points.

It's been awhile now, but I'm pretty sure used games were definitively gone. Their one and only policy was you could, "share", a game once and awhile specifically with a friend.

But, you couldn't resell. And there were heavy limitations So for the most part, used games were not allowed. But even so, I did ...

Xbox One sold through units are likely around 18 million, selling a product that only reaches 1/18th of it's user base, especially considering Tomb Raiders unbelievable universal fame leads me to believe many Xbox One owners may have cared. Either way, you just seem not to be one of them.

I hope you don't have to learn by example, it would be a shame if Fallout 5/Elder Scrolls 6, the next Battlefield, Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto, Final Fantasy or any other beloved ...

I caught your post right before you edited it. No one else need worry, but between you and me I respect you for changing it.

But I'm speaking from an offended consumers point of view, not from Brand loyalty like you may think I am.

Their job is to make video games, then attempt to sell it to consumers. I'm not trying to offend people who own another product, I just don't like how they attempted to manipulate people so unethically.

@Khaotic

I'm happy you stepped back to look.

But still, it's not about vision, or technology, or expectations. That was their PR's biggest defense, and it's not an acceptable excuse.

What the consoles are capable of is beside the point. It's not a consumers responsibility to have to look at a promoted product and ask themselves every time if they will be lied to or not. These aren't adolescents running a school product...
