I'm sure M$ will drop the ball on every port job just to keep the superior experience on inferior hardware (XBONE).
Hate to burst your bubble. but halo 2 was the last halo also released on pc as well. The reason this idea is looked at as a positive is because game makers make their money from selling games, not consoles. So in essence this is microsoft giving in and letting their developers know that they care more about them making money than they do about making money themselves. (lol not really, they're just doing everything they can to attract more 3rd party publishers...)
If microsoft really cared about their fanbase there would be pc versions of the original releases of MCC and GoW 2/3. Microsoft thinking their console is strong enough in terms of library to get me to buy one and not experience their games on my pc is what drove me away in the first place.
Enjoy watching this initiative crash and burn. M$ can keep their drm'd up games on their drm'd up store. If you need a perfect example of what I'm talking about look at rise of the tomb raider. The windows store version is garbage compared to the steam version. Key features like SLI don't even work but only on the windows store version, no thanks.
Windows store only? Enjoy that lack of profit.
speak for yourself.
Laying around in trenches for days waiting for an enemy to foolishly suicide charge? Sounds like the way most kiddies play CoD tbh. Fail.
Yea, I'll admit I was excited to see quantum break coming to pc. When I seen it was windows store exclusive I just sighed. Rise of the Tomb Raider on the windows store doesn't even support sli, but the steam version does. I'll be one of the ones waiting for the eventual steam version. Microshit just can't seem to figure out that their DRM practices will be their undoing.
Waiting for the steam version, and if that never arrives M$ can keep their bloatware.
Vr will flop harder this time than it did for lawnmower man. Some tech just isn't a good idea.
That's why I wait till its all released... then judge if I want it or not.
Pretty sure the only people hating on Kojima are bitter xbots....
Thankfully you are not in charge.
Never bought a key, crate or skin.. and still enjoy the game greatly. If you have a problem with an aspect of the game, simply don't participate in that activity.
For shitting on kojima there is no forgiveness. Not to mention their versions will be garbage.
Hopefully he can just use the sound files from the original. Problem solved.
I own broforce on pc, its great.. but I'd rather have something I don't have already so I'll be voting for Henk.
@dontbhatin They advertised global illumination in their early marketing videos for the engine. The reflections you see on the ground are baked and not impressive compared to real time global illumination. Basically when you look at the reflection of fire on the ground the way it stands now you just see a bright globe that doesn't move... you should be able to see the fire flickering in the reflection on the ground, and your reflection should block the fire if you pass in front of it, fa...
No bias here.. none at all. This should be reviewed for what it is, a remaster. Not reviewed and compared to mechanics found in shooters today. Of course its dated gameplay... the game is 20 years old.
Omg, are they starting to get it?
