really? because I don't consider battlepass xp and skins for a f2p game as "free games". Not to mention they started throwing out repeats months ago. They were giving away Tiny tina's dlc wonderland already before the reset.

@sol4is yea, shocking that sony gamers actually buy their games and not rent them... thus better supporting the devs. And in turn have far superior exclusives. I'm sure absolutely none of that is related... /s
Yea, i get the appeal to new pc / xbox gamers that don't have a big library... but those of us with 15+ year old steam accounts... not so much. I won a year of gamepass on twitch in january and have used it for back for blood.... and that's it.

The authors don't have to admit it.. the proof is in the pc game sales themselves. But... they would sell more on pc if the games released day 1, so they are leaving sales on the table. That being said if they released day 1 people with gaming pc's suddenly have no reason to buy a ps5. It's kind of a complicated move either way.
