why anyone would pay 70 for a portion of a game blows my mind.. wait for it to be finished and you'll pay far less.

No point in making any purchases until the project is done. I for one don't like waiting for content to drip.. I have the patience to just wait for it to be finished. Its far cheaper that way too. If the fools don't put it on steam I guess ill have to settle for ps5... I refuse to support tencent EGS.

Gaming remasters don't generally translate well when it comes to multiplayer gaming evolution. Even lots of newer titles struggle to maintain an audience. Gamers are just spread too thin in this department. I support the decision unless its crossplay with the original games mp thus not splitting the fanbase. Diablo 2 is a recent example of remaster mp design done properly.

its just listed on epic, its not available yet... so its hard to say if its free or purchased. Being an epic temporary free offering doesn't mean its free just like sony offering something for a month for free doesn't mean its free. Because its not like a demo that's always free.
can't agree with you more, they used the money sega gave them to make colonial marines to make borderlands titles that were the worst of the bunch.. i wish they'd got sued.
ever think that might have more to do with the franchise not being fatigued and oversaturated and less to do with the IP's involved? Step away from battlefield for 5 years like I did... 2042 isn't near as bad as haters are playing it out to be.
