They did that already, 3 times. You may not like games as a service but publishers do... and they are the ones that grant the IP's ultimately (they pay the devs). Nope, just recognizing that the games have dipped far in quality thus damaging the franchise. The games that established the franchise were way better and this is proven with the remake sales.
