This is the real truth amongst this whole debate. What matters is how enjoyable the game is. Graphics do NOT make the game.
Most of the greatest games of all time lacked in the graphics department, but excelled in every other category. Skyrim is my personal choice of greatest game ever made, but graphically there are much better looking games out there, but never have I ever cared.
It has great gameplay mechanics, top notch soundtrack, gripping story,...
Frankly given how myself and other X1 owners have been benefiting from a second place MS with their humble pie and generous offerings, I wouldn't want them to win this gen.

I will draw you a circle. Visually it looks perfect, but mathematically based on PI it isn't and thus is not perfect. Does it matter? No.
The same goes for this. Both games looks identical, but because the numbers don't add up it's deemed inferior. It's more a psychological issue with the end-user than a technical issue with the game.
I've been hearing rumours that it's a good game on the Xbox One. Anyone else hear about this? Metacritic only ever has the PS4 reviews because that's all the publishers send out anymore and if I google Batman Arkham Knight Xbox One all I get is resolution click-baits. It's like this for every game.
Guess I'll have to assume that both the Xbox One and PS4 versions are exactly the same gameplay wise and the graphics are practically the same.

That is too bad and kind of odd that a dev publicly says they are no longer doing 60fps. Why I wonder? I mean they're a Sony exclusive dev so why abandon 60fps?Is it a hardware thing?
Wait, so a PS4 remaster, sorry "reimagining" which apparently is a thing now because Sony says so, is running at half the framerate of it's PS2 predecessor? And this is ok? If MS did this they'd be rolling in the aisles. But hey as long as it runs at 1080p right?
It's in beta right now. The official public release isn't until this holiday season so naturally the selection will be limited and possibly buggy.

Well that narrows it down. If 80% and above is a good score that leaves 18 review sites.
Of those 18, 5 are self proclaimed PlayStation sites. So to ensure an unbiased review your should avoid them. So that leaves 13. 8 of those are foreign language. If you just go for the scores this is irrelevant, but if you like to read and find out what actually makes the game good, unless you could rely on Google translate, or perhaps you can read that language, this could be a proble...
Just means a lot of people preordered it based on hype and pretty graphics. It's the after launch sales that will be the difference maker.
They did this because they had a vision for the level of graphical detail they wanted and the only way they could achieve it on the hardware was by blacking out half the screen.
I saw this as well and came here to see if anyone else knew anything about this. So far this seems to be the only site quoting this. This is good news for X1 owners if it is true, though still 900p looks really good nonetheless.
