well forget bankrupcy or anything like that if psn/live is down for maitainence you cant play games that require online authentication

the 360s gpu codenamed xenos , is a very powerful convententional gpu.
conventional in that, ati could very easily, have released the chip as a standalonegraphics card for mass market, in fact most there current designs have directly evolved from the xenos chip.
on paper xenos has a lot of pixel pushion capabilitys, it has access to 256, of the 512 shared ram the 360 uses (like in a laptop the ram is split betwee...
xbox games tend to feel cool in some places in color terms where as ps3 feels warm in colors
blue and orange , but thats just how i see it
both look aweosme shame i dont play racing games much
dont forget the frame buffer,
the 360 uses a small buffer to hold frames before display, so ineffect
its cached a handful of frames after the one oyur veiwing,
this means the rendering of thr fram you see took place a split second before it was on screen
saving spu time and reducing tear and such
whereas rsx displays the frame its drawing as it goes
(bad explanation but its closeenough)
from what i can gather there seems ,textrues on 360 are more vivid then on ps3 and in some case slightly more focuesd, less blurry but i dont play games to stare at walls
i play games for fun
and they will play more orless the same
also, in reality colors are softer as are edges then the harsh ones portrayed by 360, its down to the way the eye works, it softens images as there furtherback

all that means is using our current understanding and tools weve done what we can
then its optimizing the code and making it tighter so it does more with less, then its taking that and reworking code completly using new tricks and ideas you havent fully thought of
like instancing, instancing is where you have multiple objects in fdiffernt places , all using the memory and calculations of the original , like shadows so you get more of an object at little cost.
