It would require standards as Direct X etc to let the developers abstract away the hardware. Microsoft would love it.

Google already won that price (more than once).. Maybe Insomniac are the best "game" development studio to work for.
It's probably nice but.. Read posts above and it's obvious. I guess multi platform games are out of season for PS3 owners. These games don't utilize the PS3 hardware and don't offer the same gaming experience as well as the ones from Insomniac, Guerrilla and Naughty Dog. Oops almost forgot Atlus.
"Split Screen". Or is that feature forever gone in modern racing games? Just can't figure that out. Thats how me and my friend's always have played racing games..

A lot of PC fanboys around here.. Open up a PC and a Mac and compare the build quality and you'll know.
I believe the OS may have some impact on how well a browser does. Firefox worked so so on my linux (kubuntu) freezing and crashing after some time of use forcing me to restart X. Maybe works a little better in windows (xp and vista). The best combination i've tried so far is firefox in OS X on my mac, very responsive and it seems impossible to make it crash. Still haven't tested chrome though. May have to try It out after reading some good feedback among the comments here.

..a generic disaster/survival game. Find out if you would have survived a sinking ship, type Titanic or Estonia. Next scene survive a tsunami, next scene survive a hurricane, next scene survive a terror attack etc etc.. Off course you wouldn't know what type of disaster is going to happen next, otherwise the whole concept fails :)

It's a very long way from "Latest research" to an accepted and adopted new technology. It will take several years and there are many pitfalls along the road. I don't know if Xbox720 can wait that long. Anyway 12 TB on a portable medium sounds awesome. I wonder if high definition at the time of it's release will be redefined and around 1080000p or something :-)

For me the hardest one to agree with was the last one 'bang for the buck'.. PS3 easily should have won that round. The 360's price tag is totally without features you probably want and have to pay extra for., Btw that netflix feature isn't that US only?
