I'm actually playing through Heavenly Sword for the first time at the moment, and I have to honestly say that the SixAxis sections of the game are so fun. Controlling arrows and rockets to take down people and giant catapults? I usually just lay back and relax when playing games, but this one actually made me sit up and pay attention.
I can't think of many other games that are as good as this, with regards to SixAxis though. Uncharted had a bit and I don't use it at all in WarHaw...
Well, looks like its time to CraigsList my two SixAxi off to some poor sucker who doesn't keep up with their news. Oh well, at least they'll be getting my controller at a discount price as opposed to full retail.
Time to get me some RUMBLE!
Sony hasn't given an exact date on when the 2.30 firmware update will be released.
SEE WHAT ALL YOU NAGGERS DID!?!?!?!?
Jeesh.
Did you notice the 2gig install on Uncharted when you played? I eff'n bet you didn't!
Go home and cry to your mommas, or go find something productive to do while the install is happening, like channel surfing.
Jeesh (again), quit yer naggin, ya naggers.
The shadows look like ass in the first screenie (the outside shot). Boo.
The author is such a nagger. Jeesh.
I have been a PSP Phat owner since launch and have yet to regret it!
Sonarus: So true. Non-MP games seem to get a lot of slack these days. I however purchased Uncharted maybe 2 weeks ago and was blown away at how great the game was, and now I'm playing through Heavenly Sword and am lovin' every moment of it.
I'm sorry, I don't travel around the city with my PS3, so no need to get a travel-sized HD. I just got myself a external enclosure and hot-swap my 500gig HD between my PC and my PS3.
Microsoft isn't the only one worried about this game when it launches. Movie productions too are worried about GTAiv in general. I believe Iron Man is coming out around the same time. Heck, even when Halo 3 came out, movie ticket sales "slumped", and thus a scapegoat was brought to our attention.
I believe the $50mil may do something with the price being a little cheaper.
I'm no mathematician, but wouldn't that equate to theta?
This game looks damn awesome. Makes me almost want to buy a xbox 360 just to play this game, or at least upgrade my PC to current standards. But we all know which one is more likely!
(Hah, I just realized the post above is also from a Canuck)
They should do a "Call of Duty: F*ckin' Jacques Cartier Adventures"
After the damage COD4 has done to my life, I'd still dish out $60 for the sequel.
are daft.
These shots are to exemplify my statement. I should be clear though, that I've only noticed when I stop playing the game and look at the edges of the shadows. They're very blocky, and you have to see the shadow move to really understand.
COD4 screen-shot (IGN) - look at the shadows of the concrete barriers, and directly right of the guy's ass. Shadows are blocky.

"Do I need monster HDMI cables?
No, HDMI monster cables are simply a monster rip-off. If a cable is HDMI certified, it will by definition offer you a perfect digital signal. Despite the fact that the electrical signals traversing an HDMI cable degrade as a cable gets longer, it will still offer perfect digital transmission so long as the signal loss or distortion is within a certain tolerance. But when it comes to digital technology, the signal is either all there or it isn’t. T...
But Uncharted was one great game that didn't have multiplayer, nor does it need one. Throughout the entire game, it was an epic story-line that kept me hooked. No need for multiplayer. I kinda feel the same towards the Halo series, as it has a deep story-line if you care for that kinda stuff, but it's story got overshadowed by the multiplayer as the series came to #3.
I think that (some, if not most) epic-story driven games really don't need the MP. For example, look at game seri...
Do you even know why DualShock wasn't implemented in the first place? There was a patent infringement that disallowed Sony from using it when the PS3 was released. Now that they have it all settled, they're ready to "abandan" the plain-ol SixAxis in favour of the DualShock.

You need proof? A simple google search shows that this issue was brought up 3 years ago. It's not like nobody knew that DualShock wasn't going to come back.
