Uber-slow download speeds here in Vancouver, BC, Canada @ 12:50am (Wednesday, 30th). It's already ERROR'd on the download twice, so I think I'm gonna sit this one out till after work today in another 12 hours. I haven't touched my PS3 in about 2 weeks anyhow, so no matter to me.

Oh, you'll make time.

I'm not a 360 owner, but you can't just go on saying "$50/yr for a game!?!?!?" for each game. You pay $50/yr for the service for all games (online compatability = regulated). Whereas, for us PS3ers, it's free, but online service tends to depend on individual developers.

But I digress, I love the HL series, but it needs a deeper storyline now that it has excellent graphics. But we all know that graphics doesn't = an ultimate game.

Even though the price for the PS3 has dropped significantly since release, I'm still VERY content with having bought my 60gigger for $500.
(Note to self: must update HDD soon)

GTA-what now?
I haven't popped in my copy of GTAIV for a while. I got distracted and bought Burnout, GRID, and MGS4. I think I was on the very last mission too. Maybe I'll pop it back in again sometime soon.

I say yay.

BTW, a little poll on the COD4 forums to show IW that people want a rumble patch, even if they say 'No dice!'.

I love my Super Mario Brothers & Nintendo Ice Hockey (just to name a few)!

I do purchase anything I deem worthy though, and I have a library of about 15 games for the PSP at the moment.

I can't say that the games are expensive anymore, as they've gone down from $49 to $19~$29 each, which I believe is a much better price.
I dunno your situation, whether you work or not, but back in the day, paying full price for a game, almost as expensive as a PS2 game, just for a handheld wasn't quite worth it (to me, of course).

Hmm, maybe the thief has the handle 'Jason 360'

Ohhh Jason. Do you ever tire of being wrong?

@14.4

We call those kind of people 'Naggers'.

Have a nice day.

"So what benefit BD provides here for PS3 in terms of games?"

Lets see. If I were making an epic game that would make me millions of dollars and had to choose between two USB flash drives that I'd distribute it on, which would you choose: the 1gb memory stick, or the 8gb?

This is just all theoretical though. No one would ever need 8gbs of space to use up!

What? You can't find anything to do while it takes a few minutes to install but to watch the progression bar on the screen?

I think they just mean that updates won't be referred to as numberes, but as nicknames. Kinda like how Microsoft nicknames the beta version of each Windows differently (ie. Long Horn). This way, they can refer to new DLC packages by nicknames and not have it dependent on when the next new update patch(in terms of game ver. number) comes.

I'm just saying that they didn't give an exact date. Mid-April does not mean the 15th, but yes, the 15th is mid-April. You gave an exact date, and I was just giving you a friendly reminder. Cheers.
