@ GWAVE: the list does include some games on PC, PSP, and DS. the console generation is more of a time reference.

i also really enjoyed Folklore, but it's hard to put in the same conversation as some of the giants in the top ten. if only because of the massive budgets of some of those other titles.
it's only on ps3 in japan.
RPGs have really diversified over the years, it's a great thing to see.
