not to be rude here but have you actually looked at the game.
They've taken out every stupid perk that broke MW2 and balanced the killstreaks (it looks like it...RCXD could be the only one that's iffy but I think it's gonna be fine)

If the game is good, I have no problem supporting it (like I will with Halo Reach's noble map pack).
It's kinda shady but if it's good content and moderately priced (one can dream), it's not crossing that line
The game looks pretty good but I hope removing commando, danger close and OMA (as well as unlimited tubes) will stop most of the raging moments from MW2. I literally play the game tense and angry because of the random bull crap deaths I get sometimes.
Hopefully, it's just fun again and if it's not, it might be my last COD. The fast paced formula is fun if it's done right in my opinion

It could but you have to aim that knife instead of hitting in the area of your enemy like a noobtube....I think that's what might balance....it's basically a throwing knife with more oomph behind it
I dont' get all the bad reviews....is it perfect? No....I would consider it about an 8-8.5
Not amazing but quite fun and one of the best campaigns I've played in a while. The only other FPS campaigns that had me caring about the characters has been Halo and BC2 (to an extent....the narrative was very weak overall).

I do too...it's not perfect but what is these days. It's a good time once you stop caring about stats as much and just play.

My review (only about an hour into SP and 3 into MP) is that it's a decent-good game
It doesn't do anything terribly bad but it doesn't do anything terribly amazing either. The MP is fun for the most part though lag where you get shot around corners, feel like you put a mag into someone without them dying but you die in two bullets (which every shooter had....though I don't notice it in Halo as much)

I'm right there with ya but I'm getting Black Ops anyway...I pumped 2 days of playtime into MW2 (somehow) so if they create a balanced MW2, it'll be fun
