$99 for Vita TV? Sony your handheld isn't selling so why add another expense onto the Vita?

"While we still have the issue of touch-pad VITA games being useless on the VITA TV"

Well done sony, just kill off one of the unique features on the vita.

@Coltrane_C No you just don't understand my comment.

You're right, PSP > Vita

Why didn't they announce this at Gamescom when they dropped the price?

Sucks for the gamers who just bought the original model.

Japan doesn't get PS4 until next February? That is a terrible move by Sony. They keep on pushing themselves further away from Japan in favor of the US market. Nintendo already owns Japan in the handheld market and now that the Wii U will be the only next gen console available in Japan this holiday is a huge advantage for Nintendo.

Nice and clean, I like it.

This is what happens when you try too hard to be funny.

Good blog but I disagree when you say Nintendo should stop making hardware. How long will it take for people to realize that the amount of power a console has does not determine how successful it will be? PS2 was the weakest but won its gen, Wii was the weakest and won its gen (with very little third party support) same with DS and 3DS. If Nintendo made the Wii U as powerful as PS4 it would still be in the same position as it is in now besides having a higher price tag.

A new handheld to compete with Nintendo.

4673d ago 1 agree15 disagreeView comment

Yes because the console with the most power has always been the most successful.

Why don't you compare Vita hardware to 3DS hardware? Oh wait that's right because 3DS is destroying it in sales.

The funny thing is most of the Nintendo haters here have never played on a Wii U before or plan on ever buying one whereas a lot of the NIntendo fans here are multi-console gamers. So who's the real fanboy? The person who praises one company and one console only or the person who's a fan of one company more than the other but has multiple consoles?

I have a gaming rig. Exposed clown. ;)

Who cares which console is more powerful multiplats are going to look the same on both consoles just like current gen.

I can name 3 more of sony's problems with the PS4:

- No backwards compatibility
- No free online
- No external hard drive support

Even one of Halo 4's designers said Kojima's design was disgusting. Eh hello! Cortana anybody?

If Nintendo bought Platinum they would be in good hands. Can you imagine if sony bought them? Ugh sends shivers down my spine.

Hell no. Rayman games are good but no way near Mario games.

Damn already? I pre-ordered mine from Game.co.uk since Gamestop aren't selling them over here.

Edit: I just checked ebay and they're already going for €80 - €120!

Well said. We all know the Wii U isn't as powerful as the PS4 or Xbox One but the fact that Super Mario Galaxy on the Wii only used 88mb of ram just imagine what Nintendo could do with the 1gb of ram in the Wii U.

I cannot wait for the Wii U's future.

Sounds like a gimmick but I'll wait before passing judgement.
