Not only was all of Elizabeth's character development thrown out the window in the last 15 minutes of the game, but she was also completely unbelievable and, to a certain extent, ridiculous throughout the early-midgame ("It'll be a revolution, just like in "Les Misérables"!)

This is based on the idea that people are actually smart. The people who buy Call of Duty year after year are, for the most part, unintelligent and ignorant. They are going to buy Call of Duty on the new Xbox, simply because the ads that they see on their social media websites and on the commercial breaks for their reality TV shows tell them to. The new Xbox could have 360 level hardware, and the moronic fanbase that Microsoft has would buy it regardless.
Unfortunately, there is a severe lack of intellectuals on both sides of the "console war". Which console is better is going to be up to whether or not the next Xbox sucks, or simply the whims of the fanboys. PS4 will still be in the lead for Sony fans after this, and the next Xbox will probably be in the lead for Microsoft fans, what with the probable exclusivity of the much loved Call of Duty series by Xbox's main fanbase.
Why won't they just take a break with this series. . .
Uncharted 2 was one of the greatest games ever made, while Uncharted 3 was a mess of questionable gameplay changes, gaping plot holes, and completely undeveloped characters. If U4's being made by the same people (EDIT: same people being the same team at ND), I doubt they'll change much, as U3 was praised beyond belief by critics.
Holy crap. That trailer looked cliche and silly, but these screens get me pumped to no end.
Which is why Crytek has yet to make one game that immerses me in any way at all.

I welcome the new voice actor with open arms. We may not be getting a new lead character, but at least we're getting a new voice. Hayter was a fantastic voice actor and an overall awesome guy, but it's really time for a change.

I agree. This doesn't look anywhere near as impressive as Battlefield 3 did back when it was first shown off. By the way, does anyone know if they were trying to be funny during that final slo-mo scene? I thought it was hysterical. If they were trying, then bravo. If not, then I fear for this game. . .

Hm, well I could've sworn I heard that from at least 4 or 5 different sources. Oh well. I guess the reason why I won't be buying it will be for my primary reason: Xbox has about 4 exclusive games worth owning, none of which I have any interest in.
