Here's my thing. Whether or not you think PC exclusives aren't as good is subjective. I don't think they are better than the Wii U but better than PS4 and Xbox One.
I'm going from a base of simply the most versatile platform to game on period. Don't like mouse and keyboard? Fine got you covered with a controller.

That's exactly what they said. It's the crap that happened with Watch Dogs and what is happening with Far Cry 4. Why would someone with a PC want the same quality as consoles.
Um doesn't that work both ways though. Many games will only be on PC and won't go to consoles so that argument is weird when people say that.
I don't see consoles with Civ 5, Spacebound, Arma III, Command of Heroes, Day Z, Dota 2, Europa Universalis IV, Gone Home, Hawken, Sim City, Slender, etc. I can go on for much longer.
People are shunning the PC, the best and most versatile platform with the largest number of games at great prices. I can't think of any reason why PC isn't the first choice if you had to choice a next generation experience.
This is really pissing me off now. Why should PC quality suffer so it can have some parity to these lower mid range at best consoles.

Also Vita and 3DS being "better" platforms is very subjective.
1. Current Phones are more powerful.
2. Software is cheaper.
3. Much more versatile as you know it's also a phone.
4. Better Apps.

It's where the market is going and will continue to grow. Handhelds are a niche category. It's just simply the reality now.
$100 vs $400 isn't something to gravel over. Just talking purely money here not quality assuming this is $100 or even $200. For many $400 is a lot. $100 is easily more manageable especially if you want you younger kids to game.

People just take this crap way too seriously. Yes MS buys companies for their technologies but what major company doesn't? Oh that's right you can't think of one.
Just partner with Oculus for VR on your next console MS. Don't worry about R&D and the possibility that VR doesn't take off.
Also you have a platform that would be already up and going and would be cross compatible which is nice. I mean an Xbox is simply a PC now anyway.
PC is the best place to play mulch-platform games and are the only place to really play RTS and MOBA.
Also PC is very versatile in which you can have a controller and play it like a console. An easy choice.
Also Wii U is the only place to play my favorites such as Super Smash Bros and Mario games and Zelda. Those exclusives are the most unique and always high rated. Nintendo doesn't make crappy games.
