Starting in August there will be anywhere from 1-3 triple AAA rated games coming out per month.. God help my pockets.

Its really stupid to be honest.. Summer is the BIGGEST 3 months for movies. Videogames directly compete (and its sales are directly compared with those blockbusters) so why cant quality games occupy that same space? I guarantee if a game thats anticipated comes out in the summer doldrums it will do extremely well.

When Ubisoft is able to CONSISTENTLY pump out games the quality of Uncharted 3 or even part 2 then I will listen to what they say when it comes to the power of this gen. More than half of their games suck ass.

im LOVING that this generation is going longer than the previous ones. Id actually like for it to extend a few more years. We are getting some amazing games on both consoles and thats directly related to developers comfort with the hardware.

Theyd be smart NOT to release a new console during a huge economic downturn. The Xbox and the PS3 are making money hand over fist right now and the games STILL LOOK GOOD on each system. Why rush it?
