RDR was a rehaul of the franchise. If Max Payne is able to pull off a similar feat then.. yeah. 4 million is plausible. Especially by next year when there will be MILLIONS more consoles out (both PS3 and Xbox's) than when RDR came out in 2010. Plus we all know how strong the marketing is usually for Rockstar Games. They should be fine.
They need to do the "Halo Anniversary" treatment to this and San Andreas.. I dont understand why they dont. It would literally print monies..

they are though.. and thats coming from an xbox fan who's been disappointed in the utter lack of exclusives the last 2 years compared to the PS3.. Plus Microsoft continuing to dominate WITHOUT a committed group of exclusives worries me because that means they will figure that exclusives are over-rated. and since exclusives dont always = more sales for a console MS will just rest on its annual Gears/Halo additions every year. I dont want that and as gamers you shouldnt either.

on topic. Its amazing how the the PS3 has been killing the xbox in the games department yet lags month after month in the sales department. Maybe Sony will commit the advertising dollars next generation that xbox has. It really makes the difference, in this country anyway. Makes perfect sense.. It not like you really have to do the 2 year protracted advertising campaign for Doom 4 like they had to do with Rage. All people really have to hear is Doom 4/ID Tech 5 and its a go. They could release information 1 month before the game came out and it would sell a sh!tload.
