All of Uncharted 3's maps are free as well now. It was to celebrate an anniversary or something, and the fee to continue past level 15 is not much.
Mass Effect 3 without any DLC was about half of that. Go check what UC3 on PSN is. 40gbs including cutscenes iirc
If anything they will kill off splitscreen completely this generation. For most action games, at least. It's sad but that's when happens when everyone becomes graphics whores so publishers have to force devs to sacrifice splitscreen in favor of "more graphix"
you are wrong, unfortunately.
To everyone saying UC4 could be Unreal Championship 4...you probably have never played Unreal Championship and are just regurgitating what you see online.
There isn't even an Unreal Championship 3.
second controller for what? There's no splitscreen...
I'm sorry, but that has to be a joke right? MGSV isn't only on current-gen, and it doesn't look all that amazing to begin with. Not to say it looks bad, but I can't really wrap my mind around the fact than an overlay would slow the game down. It's not exactly high-octane.
I think the thing people really want to know is all the cross-compatibility stuff. We know saves transfer. But what about multiplayer and DLC?
So a visual filter slowed the game down? Which was probably just some desaturation and film grain?
I've been in a session with nothing but close friends and we all have either NAT 1 or 2. It happens every other week.
There are a ton of core problems with the game, and releasing more and more content, especially stuff no one is really asking for, doesn't help. Also, that is beta gameplay. The first SP was just as simple.
the simple fact is that Rockstar cannot handle the supply/demand at hand. Not with this kind of game. All these content updates mean nothing because actually playing them is a grind in itself. The party system, the horrid job lobby system, etc. Nothing really attractive there and it all detracts from what could be a consistently wonderful experience.
I would say it's a generation behind but I don't think any game has used a matchmaking/party system as poor as this game.
well, they damn near raised 1 million, so that should be more than enough to release all the DLC characters, even at $30k per patch.
But yeah, it was that or risk a buggy launch.
Strictly speaking, in terms of gameplay, this is definitely an 8. My original score was a 7, leaning towards an 8 but I seriously could not excuse all the issues with the microtransactions. The 4 items I've purchased and don't have to worry about them expiring, have provided me with a lot more fun than the stuff I have to rent. It just becomes a whole different game when you're actually able to expand your arsenal, permanently instead of temporarily. I've gotten so many messag...
they haven't even had a chance to. They saved a billion dollar franchise from missing the release of the highly-anticipated ending to the trilogy that kickstarted the success of the series, lol.
Not really. That's just the best way to handle it when you have 3 studios all developing for the same franchise. It's not for the sake of the game, it's just making the best of an oversaturated situation.
I don't intentionally post dupes by the way, but nothing showed up when I was posting this story. Even went out of my way to search for articles. Found it odd that the news had been out for about 45 minutes and no one said anything.
how long has UE3 been out? Okay. Do people think these engines don't get upgraded until the next "numbered" iteration.
$20 last time I checked. I think it's $5 to continue to level 25. You can play whenever you want though, you just don't gain XP or cash. Tbh, if you're good enough, level 25 is fine. if you have plus, UC3's single player is free as well. I can't say I enjoyed it that much, but I'm not really a fan of cinematic games to begin with, it was a fun ride though. Would rather watch it than play.
The multiplayer is fun but once people started "prestiging&...
