It's amazing how far Sony/naughty dog have come. I remember in the Ps1 days saying Sony mainly just has 3rd party. Naughty Dog has turned into one of the best developers out there. I am happy to see great games get the sales they deserve. I can't wait for their next project

From what I gathered Scorpio will be the first of MS releasing a console that is like pc in that it plays most older games (xbox360 bc and all xbox one) and will allow for newer higher spec games. So in that regard it isn't a new gen per say. Basically you can keep your library intact even if a new hardware version releases. Which is also similar to what Apple does with iOS.
Before I state this I believe that Nintendo should of cut the price. I think their reasoning isn't pure stubbornness. I think they are recalling all unsold ones in NOA so that they have systems for Warranty and replacement services. Because the Wii U ended production. So if you need another gamepad/ console in a year or two they have it for you. i do recommend if people want a Wii U cheaper try getting a Refurbished one from Nintendo directly. Comes in New condition and is $200.

No.. because tomb raider was always on PlayStation and ticked off the fans.. and Bayonetta 2 only got made because of Nintendo stepping in and paying the costs of development .BGE fits with the type of games Nintendo owners buy. Exclusives always tick people off if you don't wanna buy the hardware to play it.. but most ppl always use exclusives in their argument of who has the better console.
True and they don't hype it much here. FF games are very cinematic which is popular here. DQ is straight forward turn based RPG. I actually prefer DQ over the newer FF games. But the older FF were on par with DQ.
Ideally a digital game saves publishers on shipping and manufacturing costs. So the game should be cheaper. But what commonly happens is what you said. But I have seen Digital code (cards) sold at retailers so this shouldn't be an issue.
Used games aren't as big of issue from Gamestop because they sell newer (used) games at just 5-8 bucks cheaper than the New sealed game. Used for me is only appealing when the price is low which is usually on older titles. Id rather get a new copy on sale if at all possible.

Not really any difference between toys and tech. It's been said about cars and many other gadgets. Boys and their toys. But after reading the article there is a difference in the market approach. Even though tech is just toys for adults. But adults think differently than children.
We hope lol. But I don't mind using portable battery chargers. It's how I get through work not being able to have my phone charging on a wall outlet. This takes away that concern.
Apple has been doing this for years. Dual shock 4 as well. Nobody protested them. I don't like it though but maybe there is design reasons why. Nintendo customer service tends to be pretty good. Only had to get my Wii repaired ( owned every Nintendo console).
Looking at images of the Switch it looks rather compact. It looks great to hold (will find out soon). The Wii U game pad was bulky. Most of the time I'd rather use a controller instead.
Yeah no Ethernet port is a non issue as long as USB Ethernet adapters are compatible.
This game is really good. Its not as good as the previous one but it's a solid title. Its crazy how cheap games this year are shortly after release. I got titanfall 2 for $32 . Dead Rising 4 for $30, COD Infinite War Legacy Edition $48...etc
I don't know about a game sales crash but some titles were positioned poorly and it failed to meet expectations. A large selection of games came out in the 4th quarter and people only have so much money to spend. I really wish though collectively we boycotted COD one year so that Activision can stop the stagnation. Don't get me wrong COD is a good franchise but it should rest until it can be fresh again. Plenty of us said the same for AC and Ubisoft finally did just that.
