They ARE holding back on user content. All thay have is XBL Arcade games. There was a news article saying that the 360 could do mods and stuff, so i think we're going to see this change soon.
you're going to change anyones mind. No one cares if someone elses console broke, or how long it took to get it back, you pay for the console, if it breaks, you get a brand new one for free. So i don't see how saying the failure rates will greatly affect anyones opinion if they think about this. But seeing as how most people don't...

in the near future, i can't see MS giving up with Japan, i think they need the same support from Japan as everywhere else, so i think they'll put out a few more of these types of titles until they get a hit in Japan.
That said, securing the next FF as exclusive for PS3 was a smart move on Sonys part. Seeing as how FF has a large fanbase in the US and Japan.
But i've started hating this game for the way Free Radical touts it like it's something awesome and original, when it isn't. I just another run of the mill shooter, but with powers (Which they say is the most innovative thing about the game. There's been a hell of a lot of games with guns and powers before)
I'm gonna get this game if there's nothing else but, the developers attitude is really putting me off.
